About companies' obligations to report dangerous products

Any company in Colorado that deals directly with a product that is found to be in violation of established safety standards must report the safety violation immediately. The report should be mailed to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's Office of Compliance and Field Operations, filed electronically on their website or called into the CPSC by phone.

Vaginal mesh implant maker agrees to settle for $21 million

Colorado residents might be interested to learn that vaginal mesh manufacturer C.R. Bard Inc. has agreed to settle 500 lawsuits over their products for $21 million, or about $43,000 per claim. The settlement would resolve the hundreds of products liability claims by women who allege that they were harmed by the company's products.

What are spinal cord injuries?

Colorado residents may know the difficulties encountered by patients who have suffered spinal cord injuries. These injuries can result in changes in sensation, strength and other function below the level of the spinal injury.
